At Brympton House we understand how important it is to create an entirely bespoke and personal experience for your wedding day.
Civil ceremonies take place in the romantic Castle House, a medieval, building adjacent to the main house. Dating back to 1350 and with an elegant long aisle leading up to a beautiful arched mullion window, Castle House has an air of reverence, and looks fabulous adorned with flowers and candles. A perfect ceremony venue throughout the year it can seat up to 150 guests (with room for more seating if necessary). Double doors at the end of the building allow guests to exit on to the stunning South Terrace for a drinks reception overlooking the lake.
If you like the idea of getting married in the great outdoors, The Temple is also licensed for civil ceremonies. This imposing 18th century structure was once the entrance to Frome Town Hall and has been on the South Terrace at Brympton House since the 1930’s. Say your vows under the pretty façade while guests sit on elegant white chairs on the terrace. With the house on one side, and the stunning grounds and lake on the other, there can be no finer setting for a romantic ceremony.
The beautiful St Andrew’s Church dates from the 13th Century and can be found in the grounds of Brympton House. Please contact us if you are interested in having a religious ceremony.
